Please let us know of your interest and we will place you on our mailing or email list for run announcements. Now you have the best of all worlds. No dues nor people bugging you to take a position of responsibility. As long as you are a NARCOA member with current Rulebook certification and NARCOA Liability Insurance you may join us on our runs. All of the following are
confirmed as an available date by the railroad involved. We will post more
information on set-on, excursion coordinator as we find out track conditions on
the various railroads involved. McCloud track from McCloud to Burney is still in place and was last run by our club in October, 2007. We anticipate the following McCloud runs to be McCloud to Burney & return on Saturday and McCloud to Mt Shasta City on Sunday. We confirmed on the weekend of April 12 that all UP cars stored between McCloud and Bartle have been removed and we will be able to run from McCloud out to Burney. 4/19 - Sierra Railroad - Oakdale to Jamestown and return - Sold Out 5/3 - Cal Western - Willits to Fort Bragg and return - Canceled due to lack of participation 5/31 - 6/1 - McCloud River - Cancelled due to snow conditions. 7/12 -7/13 - McCloud River - Confirmed 9/13 - 9/14 McCloud River - Confirmed 10/25 - 10/26 - McCloud River - Confirmed 11/29 6th Annual Turkey Run - Willits to Fort Bragg and return- Confirmed No British Columbia runs are scheduled by SWRC for 2008.
Southwest Railcar Limited (SWRC) follows the rules set forth in NARCOA Rulebook #6 and the NARCOA Operations Manual. Any additions to the rules due to local requirements will be noted with the specific run that requires the rule addition.
